Fyi we had been alerted to the issue beforehand, but we've both been fairly busy but had resolved to do an independent investigation of ourselves into certain players identities. It appears that Taraa has been permanently banned so that issue has been resolved

There are three people whose identities we couldn't definitively link to established people elsewhere on our own: Shogun, Zec Chelovek, and Villager. Based on the few posts that Zec has made, particularly with regard to how he's spoken in them, I'm fairly sure they aren't multi-accounting. Villager we haven't had the opportunity to discuss, but I kinda can tenuously link them to a certain person on MU based on their avatar, but I'm straight up not sure and would appreciate knowing who @Villager is before the game starts.

Signups will be closing August 19th

If Shogun can establish themself as not a certain person's alt (showing me where they're or have been recently active on another forum, mafia or otherwise, as an example) before signup's close on the 19th I'll allow them back in. Both Villager and Shogun can tell us privately if they wish

If Warman wrote a sentence that grammatically correct and complex even one time I'd be amazed.

The man in question that is a problem has ban evaded 3 times in the past week or so, and the mods and admins are alerted.

He can't post like any of you do, and none of you would ever post as poorly as he does.

It's night and day. You're in zero danger. (hugs) to you all.

He literally cannot harm this game anymore. He's too exposed. All it takes is daylight and the roaches go scurrying.

So with regards to the hard evidence that Shogun and Taraa were multiaccounting and were Warman.

The account ShogunGrumpyBear had referred to itself as Warman or Warman8 on a number of different forums. I could leave this here I guess of him linking to his steam account while on another forum: http://clancommunity.ru/showthread.php?p=147853#post147853. There's actually plenty of hard evidence aside that Shogun and Warman are the same person, but I'll just leave one example for now.

Taraa was also definetely a Warman alt. Pizza can provide screenshots if comfortable doing but Warman sent him an email pretty much indirectly admitting that Taraa (the one banned for being super racist yesterday or two days ago) was another one of his alts, and complaining that he (Warman) had gotten banned

The account Davaa, banned two weeks ago, was also near certainly a Warman alt, though not to this riduculous level.

Anyone here, just read like 20 posts that Warman has ever posted. 10 years ago, or last week. Doesn't matter.

Any 20 posts randomly selected.

Now you know exactly what to look for. The posts all look like a fortune cookie if you removed all the positivity and all the lucky numbers except the number 8.

He's just tried to join 6 games on MU. I'm sure all the players in those games will be sad if he won't be able to multi table (or multi account) that many games at once. I bet he would have been a lot of fun to play with and he sure would have tried to take all those games super seriously and would have been an invaluable mafia partner or strong townie solver, and he would have respected the integrity of the game there each and every time and followed all the forum rules to the letter.

How much do I wanna bet? I'll bet all of Donald Trump's current net worth after his debts all get paid in full. Winking smiley face.

Anyone who is morbidly curious to know this guy's history can DM me. It's a long and sordid tale for the ages. You guys missed out on a real "treat".

He's also sending me lots of emails, PMs, and DMs and making fresh accounts on most of the other forums he's been permabanned from.

It's a slightly tedious chore to DM the admins and mods of all these other forums letting them know that their favorite ban dodger has returned. Again.

But there is a certain satisfaction that comes when the peace and quiet returns to each of these forums, after these accounts all go into the dustbin. And players play games that aren't full of cheaters, flamers, and flakers.

It's worth it. If folks want to go into actual moderating, it will make you lose sleep, stress you out, and age you.

But man, it's worth it for the results when it's done right. Good folks stay and feel welcome. The rest, don't. And balance is restored to the universe.
