I am new to modding and this site. I have decided to make a scenario about the u.s. invasion of Panama in December 1989. The U.S. invaded on December 20th in Operation Just Cause and it ended on January 3rd 1990. Please give me feedback.
Sounds good. Don't forget the special weapon the US used to get Noriega to surrender... really loud Barbara Steisand music. I think he lasted 2 or 3 days once he was surrounded before he gave up. That's longer than I could have held out.
Since the two sides are so unbalanced, I suggest that you set a limited time in which the Americans must take Panama. If the Panamanians are able to resist for a certain amount of time then they win (you could say that war weariness in the US has forced the withdrawl of US troops). I'd love to help you out but don't really have many skills.
that was what i was thinking hypo. Also, who should i do as the leader of the U.S.? Bush, or General Stiner. I also need models for Apache and Little Bird helicopters.
Maybe have Require Complete Kills set on, have a few cities owned by Panama and none by America. The gradual lose of money will disband the army, forcing the US to make a quick attack. Seeing as the conflict lasted less than a week was it? I can't quite remember. The turns are going to have to be like 6 hours representing one turn
i was thinking about 12 hour turns. I still need an AH-6 Little Bird model though and still working on the map of panama. I could use Spectre Gunships too. General Stiner will be the leader, AND I am working on a scenario for the Mayaguez incedent too in 1975.
