Hello all!
Okay, so I've made a scenario, saved it and want to test it. But every time I load it up I have to sit through the computer taking its first turns in horrible zoomed in modes- is there any way to make the scenario start in a more pleasing zoomed-out manner?
Hmm, another problem I've just discovered whilst playtesting- the bastard AI just won't attack! The way one event is supposed to happen, is that an AI unit gets built next to a "spare" civilisation's city, and that city has one weak unit in it; when the AI takes the city in two turns' time, another event is triggered. But the AI just won't attack the city! Hell, I even revealed the map to check what was taking the event such a long time to happen, then created three of the most powerful units in the game next to the city, and they just fortify themselves outside it! I deleted the city walls (Which are there in case the city is destroyed rather than captured), they still wouldn't attack. Hell, I even deleted the unit in the city and they won't take it! What's going on?!
Could the two AI races be making peace? I put an event in that says everyone can't talk to each other, but is that enough?
Or maybe there's just a better way of doing timed events... can anyone help?
