Another eptathlon award

Winning a fasted-finish type award in the GOTM or the COTM is an achievement in itself. Winning it multiple times with different victory conditions is particularly impressive, because it demonstrates the ability to adapt your play-style to the different victory conditions. For this reason, we have the "eptathlon" awards - a special award issued to anyone who completes fastest-finish victories in every victory condition, plus the "cow" award for the highest base score.

Up until this month, we had only ever had 5 eptathlon winners - 4 in the GOTM competition, and one in the COTM version.

As of this month, we still have only 5 eptathlon winners, however we are presenting a new eptathlon award - DaveMcW has picked-up his second eptathlon.

Dave claimed this award with his Culture100k victory in COTM 14. His COTM eptathlon nicely complements his GOTM version, and he is the first player to complete epthatlons in both the COTM and the GOTM - so well done DaveMcW!
