Are there player guilds for Civilization? I'm looking for a friendly, mature group of people who plan to enjoy Civ 6 in a casual way whilst chatting away on TS

The only 'guild' I know of is not really a guild actually.
In Civ 5 there's the NQ-group, the No Quitters group (not a real group, though, more a mentality). For people who like to play without other players that (rage)quit a game (because of whatever reason) and just finish a game.

It's not exactly what you're looking for (at least not yet), but you might be interested in the idea(s) I had in this thread. (Even though the thread looks abandoned, rest assured it is not! It's just that we don't really know enought about how multiplayer works in Civ VI to begin to flesh out the proposed system. When we get to know more, I will start posting there again.)

You could create Discord groups for voice and text chat.

I've played with NQ before, but it's not really my type of play. I can't stay captive to my seat for 8 hours because of the turn timer. I play to enjoy and relax. Not to have to rush back and forth to my desk for hours just to prepare something to eat or use the loo
This seems like an okay idea. I'm looking for any established group/guild though.
