Any way to get info on impact of policy cards?

Right now when I choose between policy cards, I guess at their impact, commit, then see what all happened. I suppose I could run a spreadsheet on the side to predict the impact more carefully...

Is there any way to see their impact that I am missing?

As a game feature would be great if as you hovered over the policy cards the tooltip could indicate the impact of activating or deactivating it, given your current situation. Something like "+100% Campus district adjacency bonuses. (+14 Science/Turn)" ...

You just have to calculate that stuff in your head. I am sure their probably a mod for that. I need to check. Just checked and nope, no mods that show you the total value of a policy when you select it. You will have to pay attention to your city status info or remember what building you have in your cities.

Thanks for checking, too bad there isn't a way or mod. I do wish it was a feature in the game.

Or quicksave/load. Too bad load times are bad on my comp.

Too bad as its a little more difficult to evaluate rationalism and free market now.

That would be a very welcome change. Perhaps it would be a bit processor heavy though for a tooltip.

On a related note, I sorely miss the graphs in former Civ versions. I really want to see my score and other performance info over time.

It would be also interesting to see a graph of your relations with a civ over time on the leader screen. There could even be era bonuses for maintaining long-term relationships.

It’s there in the player_stats.csv log just not graphically done for you and also zeroed each time you start civ.

I'd really really like to see this implemented into the game. I always make rough estimates but can't be bothered to go through the obnoxious reload times (even with SSD).

That was my first thought as well but would it really though? It's just a few calculations. It's the year 2018. I feel like it's just another instance of hidden information the developers seem to love so much xD

There is a fantastic mod called "Better Report Screen" (see screenshot) which has a policies tab that shows every currently available policy and what the yields would be for using that policy. It even has an option to show all policies in the game so you can plan which ones you might want to research towards. It only improves the report screen, does not impact game play in any other way and is R&F compatible.

Note: there is also an option to hide policies that do not impact yields which I forgot to use before taking the screenshot.
