I don't understand this at all.I have a machine that can do all manner of wonderous things, yet they stick a crappy clock that runs a hour slow per week.
Whats up with that?
You got a defective or aged motherboard, I guess. IIRC, the system clock is set by the clock on the m/b. My few-months old PC is showing the time quite accurately, up to the minute.
Mine it`s always ten minutes late. The poroblem is every time I try to set it right it comes back ten minutes. I would say it kind of works. :crazyeyes
I used to have the same problem -and as I'm obsessed with time, it used to drive me nuts. Then one day I ran across this program that set your computer clock exactly in tune with the military atomic clock. Every time you connect with the internet, it requests the exact time from the atomic clock.
I think one of my programs is causing it and I think its Civ3.Don't ask me how...I don't really want to know.I played for 2 hours last night and when finished my clock was 2 hours behind!!..it stopped during the entire civ3 session or so it would seem.
