Anyone else have this?

I have been having problems with Civ4 constantly crashing, so I tried to check the .ini file and I noticed that the ini file points to a shortcut that dosent exist. Appararantly, the game is supposed to create a folder in my documents folder but for some reason mine didnt; I tried reinstalling the game but it keeps having the same proble: the ini file shortcut shows this:

%HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH%\My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4

Does anyone have this problem, or know how to fix it?

I just did a quick check. The file exists on my system but it looks like it may be created after you start a game. When does your system crash? I got into the game and disabled music and it sovled my problems. I think I need to update the sound drivers just too busy playing now.

My game dosent even start, it crashes back to the desktop right after I open it.
