So, what's the plan? When does the game start? If we wait a week, we could wait for the new version (0.13 releases on the 23rd, then wait a couple of days for the inevitable patches)- I don't mind if we wait or not, just putting it out there

Hadn't realized there was a new version coming soon. If everyone is willing to download the new version, I'm willing to wait for it.

Probably not. I'm on dial-up. The first version was over 100 meg, which would be about 10 hours to download it. I might get to download it but not for about 2 weeks...

I still think random leader is preferable so as the experienced FFH players don't get to much of an advantage.

Looks like the patches *shouldn't* be invalidating old games. Patch b is out now btw

If we are given random civs, is there a chance we'll be given a civ which hasn't been worked at yet? Has no unique units, special abilities, etc.
