warriors units have 8 individuals, while riflemen have 14. Is there a way to change this?

yes, you need to unpack the fpk files (sdk tools -> nexus -> scripts -> unpack fpk)

then go to ur civ5/ resource/common folder, there is the file Civ5ArtDefines_Units.xml.

In modbuddy, you need to copy the whole file into it, and don't forget to check "reload unit system" in ur mod properties.

not completely sure because I haven't messed with it for civ5 yet, but in civ4 it was done with mesh groups and formations so its probably done in a very similar fashion. Its definitely possible, the Legions mod makes all units appear as a single individual but much larger, so its easier to see.

Looks pretty weird having a man taller than anything on the map, but it does make it easier to tell what is what.

guessing performace will be much better late game with big maps... if you run into trouble just check kaels guide or get the queeen of iceni mod.

its really easy to change once you've found the file (look@my post above)

it's all there and clearly written.

Every unit has an option to define how much and also which unit types it contains (f.e.: the barbarian brutes unit is made of 3 different looking types)

Download my "Warriors ReDesigned" Mod (Modbrowser), it contains this file, where you can clearly see all the stuff.

You can also have a look at R.E.D. (see my sig) as another example with number of units & formations changed.
