AOI II- Where Eagles Dare

That makes sense. I was wondering why no mention of anyone running in to the issue. I figured it was because few finished the game. It is too easy, I am playing US at Admiral and have few problems, other than those darn Raw Materials that I have come to hate.

I know this thread has been idle for some time. Sorry. The English failed miserably to crush my invasion force, and a march to London would be child's play at this juncture. I definitely played at too low a level, but not having tried the scenario before I wasn't sure how the raw materials would figure into it. I led by such a margin, there seemed no real challenge to it other than grabbing all those darn trucks.

So Comrade Stalin will call this one a done deal and up the challenge. On to WWII-Global v 2.6. Soviets- Sid level. Should be slightly more of a challenge. :crazyeye:

Marshal Tukhachevsky completed his briefing with a final comment to the assembled Politburo on the successful invasion and subsequent destruction of the British commonwealth forces arrayed near Plymouth.

"The road to London is almost clear and in a matter of a few weeks we will be able to tour the English capital."

Comrade Stalin was beaming. "Excellent work to all who planned and executed this glorious mission. Once the British Isles are under our control and our campaign in other theaters is complete, there will be only one true power in the world!"

But at that moment, at the height of his power, Stalin then was startled by what happened next. In the blink of an eye, the men seated before him vanished. Tukhachevsky too, they were all gone and a voice he did not immediately recognize called out.

"The Germans have begun their invasion of Poland."
