AOL browser Q.

Now AOL comes with it's own browser which I have to use in order to log onto the internet. I found out recently that the AOL browser is nothing more then a mask for IE. My Q is do programs like spyblaster work? Since I more or less use IE.

Because his parents pay for it, and he doesn't have much say in the matter.

Not sure, exactly....only thing to do is try it and see.

But surely you can use IE or Firefox with AOL creating the connection, can't you?

Yeah I could. But I've tried that in the past and it's much easier using the AOL browser. :sad:

Thats a tough one, If you check the registry key hkey_local_machine/software/microsoft/internet explorer/activex compadibility
you should see the CLSID numbers that spywareblaster lists.
If the AOL browser has a different registry key than perhaps spywareblaster won't work,:sad: but than again since its based off of IE it might.
