hey history lovers! I'm new to this board and I've found it interesting and beneficial to my history learning.

I'm about to take my AP world history test on wednesday and I was wondering if you guys could give me some good facts that I should absolutely know before I take my tes

i.e. the date 1066

any help could do:)

That was the date when William the Conquerer invaded England, and defeated Harold at the battle of Hastings. William later declared himself king of England. Leading to the hundred years war and so on.

ty! is there anything else I should know about?

i.e. civilizations, continents, political figures, changes over time?

have any of you guys taken the test yet?

Let's see:

323 BCE (Alexander the Great dies)
44 BCE (Julius Caesar assassinated)
1066 (Norman invasion)
1492 (Columbus sails)
1776 (Americans sign Declaration of Independence [first rebel colony])
1918 (WWI Ends)
1945 (WWII Ends)

That's all I can think of for now. Those are all pretty "duh."

Hmmm, i didn't take it yet...,but does it have anything to do with the Eastern Nations?
