archer file, really? + other Q

Hello,

Despite me having set that I want archer (missile) fire in the options window (alt ctrl O), and even restarted civ IV, my archers don't have the crosshair button, to fire on adjacent enemies, so what gives?

other Q, what is the advised speed to play a proper C to C? Normal, epic, marathon?

The archer bombard is broken.

C2C should be played on epic or slower. I prefer snail, others prefer eternity.
