@naervod - Your stats are all set.

@BCLG100 - The partial numbers that you have now are because you gained experience in the Tourney events.

@ALL - I've removed the unpopular restriction that prevented teachers from also being students and implemented the maximum of 3 courses rule for students. We'll see how this works for a little while before considering any other changes in the teaching/learning rules.

yes but in the main thing it said that i hade 0 for defensive and i think ive just got what you were talking about so nevermind

I would like to have teachers being also able to learn things.
What about the following:
Teachers can have a max of 2 attended courses while they teach.
Non-Teachers can have a max of 4 attended courses.
?

Also, we should maybe think of other teaching techniques.
Like teaching high joust for example. I would propose a indirect learning rate of 1/2 of the normal rate.
Like in this example Hight Joust would teach the trainee all needed subskills für high joust, but only at 1/2 rate. The trainer must be 2 skillpoints above the trainee in ALL the subskills teached. The teacher still only earns major skills (DEFENSE, HORSEMANSHIP and WEAPONRY in this example), and also at 1/2 rate.

The combined training gets a bit too complicated so I wouldn't support that at this time.

For the teaching/learning thing, how about setting a limit on 4 classes, whether the person is teaching or learning? Therefore a teacher could have one class and then go to 3 themselves. A pur estudent could take 4 classes.

Perfect with me, shaitan! So i would comply to 4 total.

To the combined learning:
If we get that rule going, the academy could still teach quick coursed specialized on disciplines, whareas private persons could do special event-trainings.
But maybe we should down the rate to 1/3 or 1/4 compared to the specialized training? And only 1 trainee per trainer at a time :-)

Stats are updated from the 19 Oct training at The Academy.

We need to reconfigure training a bit. Skill + subskill should be used for the comparison between trainer & student instead of just subskill.

I would say: Skill must be at least 1 above, subskill 2?
Maybe the rate should also include skill difference AND subskill difference? Like Skill-Difference*Subskill-Difference?

I'm thinking of making things simpler.

Requirements to train: Instructor SKILL + Instructor SubSkill > Student SKILL + Student SubSkill. The reducing returns when skill levels get close already represents the decreased amount of learning a student can get when they approach the instructor's skill level. I don't think we need the absolute restriction.

Skill gain for training: ((Inst SKILL + Inst SubSkill) - (Stu SKILL + Stu SubSkill)) x .05

Perfect! I sense a the dungeon master in you shaitan.

Another question:
Will events like horseracing and official private duells increase the skills?

I would like to increase my melee skill please.

@dis & Grandmaster: So far the non-structured skill gains (besides sanctioned contests like we had at the Grand Tourney) are:
Duels: .25 for 1 subskill to victor, .1 for 1 subskill to loser, Maximum of 1 award per week.

Professional Racers: .25 for HORSEMANSHIP:Speed to winner, .1 for HORSEMANSHIP:Speed to 2nd/3rd place. Maximum of 1 award per week.

@eyrei: Your melee score has been increased.
