What about vice-presidents? You'll understand if I'm wondering about the election... I would think they don't count as deputies (nudge, nudge, wink, wink )

only the groups which called themselves "knights" before you could buy that title are eligable for that.
this resulted from a dispute between shaitan and me because the fanatikan order used the title "knight" directly from the beginning.
The RPG part cant deny the Knights of the Fanatikan order from using the title they had before. The same with the Jedi Knights.
The Jedies and the Order were the only ones with that title though.
And another note: Only people who were in those groups BEFORE this thread was started are eligable for a free title. The others have to buy it anyways.

This is like in real life eyrei, were titles are not faily given to people, but can be baught or inherited. Consider the Jedi and Order Titles as inherited

And how exactly is it proven? I think he was basically just giving knighthood to all citizen groups, which is the fair way to do it. I am not sure the pacifist group would want it anyway...

Looking through the Hawks' thread it is readily aparent that they are a militant (and therefore "knightly") order. Hawks that had joined that group before the grandfather clause date are elligible for a free RPG Knighthood.

They don't get a free knighthood for joining now. It is free only if they were already members before we started the Lines of Nobility post. Even if they join those orders now they must generate an Investiture to become a knight in the RPG.

Acording to the Grandfather clause, I have joined the Fanatican Hawks on August 23rd, 2002. I am also a member of the Jedi Council and the Fanatican Order. I am currently a Military Deputy (and soon to be Military Leader ). I would like to apply for the lines of nobility title.

The Noble Court would be an excellent place. The "Court" could float from place to place (sort of like a Progress). I'd be happy to host the Court at the Marillion to start out.

I remember being a knight of some war citizen group. I don't know which one. So, the padawans that are about to recieve master status in the Jedi Council, will not be considered knoights here.
