The grandfather clause is only for knighthood. It applies to players who had joined the knightly orders (citizen groups like the Jedi, Fanatikan Hawks, Fanatikan Order) before we started the titles system.

@SAAM - Yes, that is why you are a Duke at large.

@Octavian X - You became the Baron of St. Mark's Point when you retired from the Judiciary. You'll need a different aspect for your appointed ducal title from the VP office. There is no additional income for this ducal title as you are drawing VP salary. You do still draw as a baron as that is now a permanent title.

Shaitan,

I want to be sure I'm clear on this.

I am currently an Earl, due to my position as Culture Leader. When I retire (or am kicked out by election :D ) I will be Baron of Kultis.

In addition, I have recently purchased the "County of Mara". (Tile 0/-3)

In order to include Count of Mara in my titles, do I need to simply pay for the investiture, or is there something further necessary?

@Padma - The other requirement for Count is a Mansion or better. Your new castle more than qualifies. You can pay the investiture straight out or find a personal way to get that spread out to the populous via role playing. For example, I paid most of my investiture for Earl by having the Great Hunt. I'm now footing the bill for the Grand Tourney and will use that for another investiture.

I think I'd better make another of my rare forays into RPG-land and lay claim to my crown, just in case Shaitan is finding its presence on his shelf a bit too tempting ;)

I hereby proclaim myself King Eklektikos of all Fanatika :king:

Just to be safe, you understand... :mischief: ;)
