Argh! Locked out of Yahoo Email

I've been using a Yahoo email since 2001. It works great. But today I simply can't get in. I have a feeling this is because someone has sent me a lot of large photos, DLed straight from a digital camera (you know how they come out massive). Well I saw them last night but today the connection just keeps timing out after I enter log in details. Moreover, I can get into a different Yahoo account fine. It's just one in particular that's not opening up.

Anyone got any suggetions please?

I don't think that's the case. It would be very stupid of their programmers if your login cause their servers to go through all your emails (and not just headers but contents).

The email should be scanned as they arrive, and the email content should be loaded only when you try to read them. It'll take tons of email to make loading your inbox screen unable to finish before timeout.


Also a better description of the problem would be nice... what do you mean by "can't get in"? Is your login rejected (you're shown a Yahoo! error page), or your browser keeps loading? Or an error page from your browser?

Thanks kcwong. Better description: I enter username and password, then hit 'sign in'. The page spends ages loading, and loading and loading. Then I finally get a message "The operation has timed out". This happens with CFC sometimes, in which case I clear my cache. If that doesn't do it, I have to shut down both machines on the network (1 more aside from mine) and then disconnect the router for a few mins. Plug it back in, fire everything up and it's good usually. I've never had to do this for yahoo though.
