I just got a leader from fighting with the Iroquois and sent him to a city, but once he was in the city I couldn't build an army. I couldn't find it's icon anywhere in the build list. The civilopedia says that you have to place the leader in a city, and then order the city to build an army. I have version 1.17f. I still couldn't get this to work on earlier versions though. Any help would be apreciated.

You place other units into the same city, and then load them into the army like it was a ship. Note that you can't Unload them - once their in, it's forever, even when your civ has more advanced units. You also can't upgrade the units in an army.

By the way, to "load" unit into the army you must press the letter l.
No buttons or icons just "l".
