Is there any difference in "accuracy" between artillery you built yourself and those you've captured?
I was softening up a city using a stack of artillery and after a few failures in a row to cause any damage noticed the next couple of misses involved captured units. Finally caused some damage after 6 or 7 seven shots and saw it was a unit my civ had built, was this just coincidence?
While I'm on the subject does it matter where the crosshairs are pointed when attacking?

I've often wondered the cross hair question and even today still put the cross hairs in a comfy spot. I don't think it matters one whit but look forward to what the masters have to say on the subject.

Accuracy is the A number of the weapon. It dosn't matter if you captured it or built it.

Crosshairs don't matter.

Yeah, warpstorm is right, you also always get the same results with artillery, captured one or not, when firing on the same target with "preserver random seed" checked.

Crosshair has absolutely nothing to do with accuracy. Where did you get that idea. (Well i thought it about a long time ago coming to the conclusion that crosshair doesn't matter)

Although it matters NONE about aiming- I have found that if you click really
hard and say a chant before you are usually successful :crazyeye: . There
have been several threads in the forum about this and other superstitions :scan: , such as attacking horizontally, etc....

LOL.

That's great. Made me laugh. I'll try it out though.
