You can stream music over the internet, let alone a USB stick.

Portable software (i.e. programs that don't require installations) have suddenly become interesting after getting my USB key. Western Digital's Acronis backup is slower than a single drag and drop, but such software as recovery programs suddenly seem more feasible.

It's possible that we'll we see software develop in a new direction with the low prices on portable storage.

You can create a portable winamp by deleting one of the INI files. Can't remember which.

I don't mind having iTunes installed on my main comp, all i am saying is my library will be on the USB.
