Well I have been an opponent to recent wars such as Afghan and Iraq but the whole pacifism bit kicked in last year when I was in Turkey for the 90th ANZAC Day. When my group visited the war graves where the ANZACS landed the emotion of the place and the futility of the WW1 campaign made me realise the futility of all wars and the rest is just natural development of the idea over the past year.
