Asset Checker Questions

I am new to BOTM, and really enjoyed trying to play the last few games. However, I recently installed several mods (blue marble, plot list enhancements, etc) that I am assuming have made it so that I now can't load up BOTM 8. The problem is, I have no clue which mod is the problem or how to fix it. The assets checker provided on the HoF website lists a plethora (68) errors with BtS that don't really make any sense to me.

I am not at all competitive and because I am not that good, I have no reason to turn in my saves. I mostly just play these games so that I can read along and see how my strategy compares to the pros.

Is there any way to make the map run without the locked modified assets issue? I really don't want to have to re-install BtS.

When we publish the results for a game, there is also a link on the results page to the WorldBuilder save for that game. You can play that by opening it as a Scenario, and this will work whatever mods you have loaded.

We can't release an unprotected save while the game is in progress, for obvious reasons!

Thats exactly what I was looking for! Thanks so much for letting me know where to find that save!

I didn't realize how difficult it was to make sure people don't cheat. Kinda sad--but I guess anything that is competitive tempts cheaters.

as for the mods you've installed....I believe just about the only one that works with our save is the BlueMarble one...I've had that one installed ever since it was released
