Because all religions are really just composed of themselves. There is nothing unique about religions. Atheism, however, is the belief that there is no higher authority, no intelligent "power". That is really the reason I believe in Atheism. I also think: "Hm, something so irrational and unorganised? There can't be an higher spirit involved."

And I know that someone will say "not all Atheists are that fanathical!" or something like that. But that's Agnosticism, who is also, along with Atheism, something unique.

Nihilism and stuff like that are really just branches of Atheism and Agnosticism.

Every religion is unique, else we could use the same name for all of them.

Tell me anything that is unique about christianity, islam and buddhism!

Christianity: Belief that Jesus is the son of God
Islam: Belief that Mohammed is God's formost prophet
Buddhism: Belief in the four noble truths.

Buddhism doesn't believe in any superior being. :p
Islam has the concept that if you did something bad and didn't get caught, you shouldn't tell anyone and try to be sure nobody finds out. No other religion has this concept, of those that I know. I could name a whole lot more if you find another that does.
Christianity has so many unique features, that it's so hard to think of any, let's see, for a start: the belief in one God that is only one, but who has multiple names with multiple attributions (Holy Trinity); belief that Jesus is the Son of God; the belief that God sent himself to be half-human on Earth and made the ultimate sacrifice to humanity; the belief that Jesus was born by a woman who remained a virgin, etc.

As already stated, every belief is unique. Just saying that your belief is unique is no justification for saying that it is true.

Probably off-topic, but I am moving closer and closer to atheism after being forced to take New Testament class. Not only is there no point to the class (it is a dead-end subject with a circular purpose), but it is the most boring, crappy class and teacher ever.

So you believe in atheism because it's unique? That seems like a bad reason to believe in anything.

But I agree that atheism is unique. It's the only type of theological belief that is completely devoid of anything positive. It's the only religion that is completely empty.

Read the OP again. Very slowly. Be sure to read it again a few more times.

The four noble Truths are fables dictated by a lot of things.

They aren't fables. They are four statements, as follows:

1. Life is suffering.
2. Suffering has an origin.
3. Suffering can be overcome.
4. The way to overcome suffering is the Eightfold Path.

That sounds like a good reason to give up on religion.

Mary didnt stay a virgin...........

she had numerous sons and daughters after Jesus.

and atheist dont believe in a God, but if there were no God there would be no atheism.
