ati radeon whit notebook

I can upgrade the drivers becouse there aren't for my notebook!!!!
I have an amilo.Radeon 9600\9700.I see All blue at the beginning and then i don't see the main menu.Only the screeshot..How i can resolve this bug?Tn ks

i have a radeon 9750 card on my laptop. i was having the same problems - the log file indicates it's something wrong with loading the "arrows".

my solution is to clear the cache every time before I start the game. stupid, but effective. fingers crossed it's fixed in the patch.

the cache is a folder in your documents and settings/application data/ my games/civ 4/ (apologies, at work, dont know the precise folder name, but you get the idea)

There are udated drivers for notebooks, but you can't use "official" drivers. I've been using omega drivers since i've had my notebook, and they've been working great. They are basically just the ATI drivers modified a bit. Civilization works perfectly with the newest drivers, but I still do get the late game crashing on larger maps.
