of course i suggest the real reason is that many want to push their own ideas and are prone to attack alternatives because they are like nazi's in germany of 1937.

Certain desicions will position the player to a better end game- certain desicions that
are seemingly incorrect.

Wrker without the Wheel or things to build- scout - pops tech - player ahead.
The stupid, slow , ponderous , following of a style as dictated by the dull...nuth'n.

The beauty of the Attacko method is that it is relevant in Multiplayer- or Single Player.
The beauty of the writing- for the new or the old player, without stupid acronyms
that few can read, without "economy styles" no one but a handful care about and which amount to nothing.
 
although i can't get this guy's point ^^, i love attacko's guides. There is some noble madness in them.why need any walkthrough or proof or affirmation? - they are beautifull by them selves. They would be beautiful even if there were no game.
 
I get worried about myself when sometimes Attackoisms even start to *make sense*.

yes, i just finished reading "Two City Kill" .

basically the same stat but you only build 2 cities and beeline Aesthetics.

Shadowayne Paya and Zues are the superior wonders- and the only two needed to win a standard game at monarch and above.
 
A word to the wise, troy, the SP-SoZ thing you have is one of those clues that you are putting us on. If you want to remain even remotely believable, drop the SP chasing. Its an extremely weak Wonder compared to many others opened in that time frame.

Ok. i'll pretend that i did not win using this method.

Fact- Skipping early religious techs in favor of Animal Husbandry is the superior

Fact- Let the morons build sub par wonders like the Great Lighthouse to fullfill unconscious phallic desires - they are good to conquer

Fact- Having played over three hundred fifty five thousand games has given certain clues to wiley play

Fact- Shadowayne- Free Releigion- no need to worry the whole game -let others zap you with their religions- have better relations, have more culture
 
See, troy, you're shooting yourself in the foot here. Your theory is that you beeline SP so you can run FR the entire game . . . but why should you care what other civs think? You're just going to blow them away, arent you?

Staying in FR the entire game might have some fringe benefit in extreme cases, but the vast majority of games are better played using religion as a diplomatic tool, so you can run extremely powerful civics like OR, Theocracy and Pacifism. I wont deny it is often a "good plan" to hit FR, in fact, I use it almost every single game I play at some point, especially if I am SPI (which, IMHO, is the best trait to have to build the SP).

But you talk of just walking over everyone anyway, who cares what their religion is? And how is SP strong in Multi-player again? Do I need to go find your very own quote?

Troy, I like you. I love this Attacko concept. I think its either the most brilliant case of "Invented Identity" on this board . . . or its the most sad case of borderline personality disorder I have ever seen, heh, and I am going with the former. So dont come at me with your "fact" garbage, I am trying to HELP you sell it.

Attackos "gifts" are free to all PS! A simple seach for troytheface thread can supply you with enough Civ Strats to get you well into the 2020 range. 355,000 games worth, easily 10 years of Fun!
 
He sure can play games faster than TheMeInTeam. I calculated if each game is won in 1 second he will have played like 98 hours worth.
 
Even the Mighty Attacko takes at least 12 seconds to polish off a batch of "whiney cottage spammers"! You probably missed his "Guide to fast play", because it went by so fast it was like a blur! Much like the reports from Attacko Opponents like "like the wind" and "you ever see that Monty Python where the guy is charging the castle, then charging the castle, then charging the castle, then suddenly he is hacking up everyone! Thats Attacko!"

Strictly speaking, you probably can get away with not worrying about luxury resources.

Don't shirk at a 100% rate; this is the only way you gain research

I can think of 5 others off the top of my head... but you know, who's counting...
 
Is it just me or is there some bizarre beauty in Attacko's insane strategies? I mean you can’t get more awesomeness than amphibious war elephants. :lol:

@ TroyTheFace: i will take it all back, if you can make a compelling argument for why you should build cottages on hills if there are, presumably, grassland tiles right next-door. and don't give me some corn-ball, never-going-to-happen kind of scenario like it's the year 2050 and you have a pop 36 city, and you just decide that you need those windmills/mines to be cottages. you have to have an actual reason.
