I wish you could see my current game as DeGaulle. Paris, is the snake's head. It sssits jusst below the ssouthern jungle zzzone. To the north is hapless Hannibal, cottage builder. The twelve world wonders in Paris push french culture 5 ranks deep into Carthage jungle, exposing 4 cities, cutting to the very gates of Hapless Hannibal's first ring.
War is declared and battle comes down. The snake ssprings and 2 cities are destroyed and 2 are captured. There is a pause and the snake recoils and makes a second strike. Carthage falls. Hannibal is on his knees. Musketeers walk freely, eating Hapless Hannibals lunch.
The advantage was cultures and interior line of movement a la Frederick the Great, warrior and composer.
