I managed to kill the "invasion" force. I killed the archer, Jag and Guard for the loss of one Hunter. Our forces attacking Izapa did not do so well. We managed to kill a Jag and a guard but we lost too many Hunters as a result. We also had many retreat. This is a sad day for the Mayans.
 
I have not received the save......

James I : Basically my force in the ships is a silent hunter army, with a few back up men ... they will prob land near your border to relieve some of the pressure there. Just north of the Moche coastal city is a stack of abt 20-25 units ... marching toward the combat zone further south, a new fleet and men are assembling to exploit the outcomes of these attacks.

Can you send me a map with the landing spot that will best assist your frontier attacks? i plan to use my landing force as a pincer to unlock the border for
you, and divert possible counter attacks. Then, my land based forces should arrive at the Mayan frontier, and draw troops toward my side, giving you more chance at rfeaching his capital ...
Basically, we need to capture wonders...and fast! ... Looking forward to my next turn

I am building Silent Hunters and Temple Gurads as the Quetzal Bowmen don't seem to have the auto defence stat if attacked (maybe you can confirm this for me).

On to the Mayans
 
We just love seeing yet another Aztec Army bite the dust. We managed to kill the army and the two SWs and a TG for the loss of 9 SWs, plus now that we have the accendency in the race for the attack of the city of Izapa. We lost too much but we still are capable of finally winning the battle for Izapa.

Look, there are ten CS's with thre SW's and three TG's coming to attack me from the south, I am so scared. Do your worst.
