Austria in Conquests?

It has come to my attention that it is possible to play as Austria. Based on some of the information I have found, I have to use the civ edit to switch Austria with one of the other civilizations. Has anyone ever done this? And, if so, could you please give me detailed steps on how to do so. Thank you.

You may have more success with this question over in the Creation and Customization forum; they do a lot of mod's over there. It is definitely possible to put in Austria in the regular game, but I'm afraid I don't know how.

A very old COTM used Austria. COTM 7 IIRC. Look at the GOTM site if you want a ready made game.

thanks for the file marsden, but can you get Charles' picture to show up in the diplomacy screen at all? as it is, there's just the circle with a question mark...

also, is it possible to play multiplayer with the austrians?

Yes you could play the austrians cause everyone has the art. Tell you what I'll put them into a mod for you tommorow.
