Auto quick save games & auto load at startup?

Hi,

as CTRL-SHIFT-Q stats there is a quick save for games at Shift-F5 (which I heavily use).

Now maybe my question is a bit weird, but since the game tends to have phases with annoying CTDs I would like to minimize the time loss as best as possible. So I would like to know if any of this is possible:
  • Making the game to auto-quick-save each time I end a turn, so when the CTD appears I lost no turns (without having to save it each time by hand). I had a look at the BUG Mod Game Options in hope to see such a setting there, but had no luck.
  • Creating a shortcut (as I of course already did with auto-loading RoM on startup) which enables me to auto-load a saved game (of course I would like the quick saved game here) at startup. Is there maybe a command line value for this? Which command line options are available for Civ4 at all besides 'mod='?

I think you can make it autosave every turn in the BTS ini file.

You can just go to the save folder in the My Games folder which is in My Documents. Double click on the save and it will open.

Which is the name of this ini and where can I find it?

I got my Civ from Steam, so it's not the "normal" version and I have/need no CD - the bad thing is that double-clicking the save-games isn't working as first Steam has to be started. So I'm searching for a way to tell the game directly what I want it to do via the command line ...

I don't know the about steam version. The ini file should be in the BTS folder which is in My games which is in the My documents folder. The name of it is Civilization.ini
