I’m coming to the end of a rocking game. Tiny continental emperor level . We each have our own continent having bumped off our respective neighbours. Aztecs have a tech lead in the modern era & 5 luxuries to my 3. But:
• my continent is bigger
• I have a game-winning rubber monopoly & no resource problems
• I have a beachhead defended by 2 infantry armies & a bunch of other stuff
• I have complete air superiority & can carpet bomb at will
• I think I can capture the Aztec’s sole source of uranium.
In a long drawn out war I revolted into communism, the AI preferring fascism. Aside from an amphibious disaster & the negligent loss of a cavalry army, there have been no setbacks. The AI has been dashing hordes of TOW infantry to pieces & is nearing exhaustion. The breakout steam roller is about to get going.
