As part of the preparation for the Iroquois war (and in line with the attack plan I submitted to CivGeneral a few days ago) we should divert some infantry and workers towards the mountains southeast of Ellipi. There are tiles there within a single movement of the Iroquois rubber supply for a commando raid by an explorer. I can prepare the sabotage unit in one of my deopots in Quellewasser and we can thereby take out the Iroquois capacity to produce infantry units within one to two turns of the opening of hostilities.

Looks like I just opened the warmonger floodgates. And I'm a builder. I built a new province.

I speak for the people of Rhineland when I say that this plan is well laid out, but a complete and utter waste of resources and time. When do we continue to push this south, when the lands to our east(USA) and much more fertile! Let us use these resources to take cities that will help us in the future, not cities that will produce one shield per turn and bore the govenor into suicide!

We as Fanatikans must not forget that we are destined for greatness. At the moment the most reasonable target is the United States. They are ripe for the picking. When we have panzers, then and only then, will I support a furthered attack on Babylon.

If this ever goes to vote, I will be there to take this plan out and make sure that it doesn't come into effect!

It looks like the Cities have already been captured! Was this put to a vote? Was the Iroquois war put to a vote? WTH!

Since noone objected to the plan, there was no need for a vote.

How can we be sure no one was going to object when the plan was only around for ONE day! One day is not enough time to gage support!

Things happen quickly. In any case the Iroquois declared war on us so the point is moot.

I even told you this in the chat room Goonie. In a previous turn chat thread, eyrei wanted a spy on the turn or turn before we declared war on the Iroquois. In fact, this was the Babylonian war plan. There was another plan in place a while ago. This one just improved on it. There's a saying, "The best laid military plan never survives first contact with the enemy". I had to adjust the plan mid-way through the turn chat because Babylon's borders extended 1 tile too far. The previous plan had information for before we even started taking more cities.

On the Iroquois front, they declared war on us when we used a spy. We had a war plan in place for the Iroquois already. I went by the one CG posted, then used the strategy to take some more Iroquois cities.

Another point that could be made here: this game is going into its final stages. We have such a preponderance of force that it scarcely matters who we attack, as long as we continue to move forward politically and technologically. Once we get Panzers (how many turns away?) we should be able to start counting the turns until the domination victory.

I suspect that the crew that pushed the TC to ten hours was feeling some semblance of the adrenalin rush.
