Bad reputation

I have been very bad with the other civs and now I have a terrible reputation and they don't won't to make treaties with me.

It's possible to cheat editinig some file so my reputation gets "clean"?

What are the "no cheating methods" to increase reputation?

The reputation has a numeric value?

I dont think you can edit yourself a good reputation, but you can always give the AI gifts that will make them happier

firstly, DONT CHEAT!

what is the point? it spoils the game and u wont learn anything!


secondly, i find that the best way to make friends wiv the ai is to give them stuff. like spare luxuries or resourses. or, if u have enough, just a load of cash. being really big and powerful wiv a huge army also helps, ppl dont seem to keen on being nasty to u then! hehe

oh, and 3rdly, considering this is a computer game, it isnt very supprising that rep is a number.... since EVERYTHING is a number

You don't have to give away things to keep everybody polite with you; just trade and trade and trade with them.

Establishing embassies is a must.

Never, really never break a treaty.
