So I found his pieces, am trying to destroy them for fun.

Barbarians? Nope just captured, even picked up a couple of times!
Disbanding unit? Nope, just dropped.
Sinking a ship in the middle of the ocean? Nope, floating Barnaxus body.

Last thing I can think of is gift it to some other civ, try not to touch it as I burn down their cities and see if that deletes them as their units are 'removed'.

Anyone else got an idea I can use to try to destroy the undestroyable?

Assassins have an unfortunate tendancy to destroy objects by attacking them when other units are in the room. The item would have to not be yours and in a room with enemy units... maybe.

Why destroy them? Just keep them in your best protected city and the Luchuip wont ever get him back.

Do the Luchuip golems actually lose the empowered promos when banaxus dies? Also, what happens if you use ressurection? 2 Barnxuses? How can you build the shrine of the champion as the luchuip? (Never lost barny as the luchuip so no idea.)

the golems lose the empower, when you res the guy, he starts with no xp, so... you have to do it all over again.

but there's no need to bother, as the ai doesn't try to get them back, so...

The Empower promotions are updated once per turn, not as soon as Barnaxus dies or as soon as a golem is built.

The Resurrection spell and the Shrine of the Champion both depend on def getHero in CustomFunctions.py; The Luchuirp do not have a hero defined here, so they, like the Grigori, can never build the shrine or resurrect a dead hero. Hmm..I think that can still use Resurrection on a graveyard to get a unitclass_champion unit. It seems odd that you can raise an Iron Golem from the dead, since it was never alive.

Scrap metal from dead champions' armor?

if you really want to get rid of them keep sending an expendible unit into the Maelstrom eventually youll pop up in a tile of water surrounded by ice, ...or thats at least what seems to happen to me every other time i go into it

there are some special events apparantly planned for barnaxus, whats left of him anyway, or atleast thats what i was lead to believe. i'm guessing thats where you will get an oppertunity to destroy him, or maybe make a bobble head out of him to raise happiness in one of your cities. something anyway.

Maelstrom has a chance to kill a unit (possibly destroying the equipment too), or to transport it to a random water tile. It doesn't always have ice, but it certainly can.

I have a somewhat unrelated question, though still about Barnaxus. I was playing a game where Orthus killed Barnaxus. I was allied with Luch and thought, hey, maybe if I flat out give them the pieces back they'll make him again. As I wanted him alive to flight the Clan. So I dropped the pieces in their capital. Which the Clan took. And then, a few rounds later, Barnaxus showed up ... as a Clan Unit! How is that possible?

Heh, luchuip are long dead.

Water walking mage or any unit in a boat. Transport barnaxus to a barbarian/AI stack (by dying/deleting next to a barb/AI city) and then hit the city with assassins (blitz helps) or city raider (depending on what unit is holding it) until the holder dies and the item becomes the 1st target for a marksman. Kill it.

The key being, kill barnaxus-parts with a marksman (after the holder or barn is dead) but before the final defender is dead/your units enter the tile.

Well if the Clan took the city from the Luchuirp maybe they had a unit with command promotions?

um... command is living only. Barnaxus=Golem , Golem=nonliving, ergo Barnaxus=nonliving
