Basic 'Turns and Years' questions...

On standard setting how many turns in a game? I thought it was 450, but now I'm not sure.

And the game ends in 2040, yes?

Late game it's always 'one turn, one year', yes? Any idea when that starts?

I've tried searching for this but you get a million hits when you're looking for terms like 'turns' or 'years'.

As far as I know:

Marathon = 1500 turns
Epic = 750 turns
Standard = 500 turns
Quick = 3xx turns? (not sure as I have never played on Quick)

The game should end in 2050.

I have honestly never bothered to keep track of when the scale turns to 1:1 but it goes to 2 turns p[er year starting in 1950 (or 1951) on Epic. THat is my most commons speed so I couldn't tell you on the others at present. I'm sure someone else here will know for sure.

The standard speed game has 500 turns. Near the end the turns are 2 turns per year.

To find the number of turns in the game at any speed, check the Victory status screen. Add the number of turns left to the current turn number at the top of the main screen.

I have a table of the number of turns (a list of the turn number with the year for each year) which I have been working on. But, its hard to post on the forum (500 lines or so for standard) and it probably would have its format messed up.

However, it helps me to translate turns into year and years into turns, which I find useful in this game. I'm pretty certain I have the right figures for Standard, but I haven't confirmed the figures for Quck and Epic yet because I haven't played them recently, and I haven't gotten to the end turns on either of them yet.
