Battlefield 3

There are certain Rush maps where it is impossible for the Attackers to NOT blow up some of the crates. Can't think of any specificily off the top of my head(just got home from work so I'm not in that mind set just yet) anyways there are some maps where the defenders never skunk the attackers until a couple of M-Coms into the map. At which point it becomes impossible. I've never ever ever lost the last two M-coms on Siene Crossing, but I've never ever ever beaten the defenders on the first two M-coms either

The only rush map I played was Damavand Peak. We lost the first pair of M-Coms on defence but held the second ones, then on attack we won (barely). Jumping off the cliff was pretty awesome :D

Too bad the rest of the map is pretty terrible.

Good news! The tactical light is finally getting (somewhat) fixed.

It's getting Nurffed! Finally something good today!
All my friends, half which said they wouldn't, defected to MW3 today so am completely alone right now. BF games have only really been fun with at least 1 friend, the only thing CoD truly has as plus is that you can play alone if necessary. At least 1 thing went right today.

Just came back from 3 rush games:

1. Attack Noshahr Canals: we crushed them
2. Defend Noshahr Canals: we barely lost
3. Attack Tehran Highway: We were winning, I had to leave during the 3rd set of objectives (M-Com stations, whatever, I call them objectives)

About the tac light, I have it on my SCAR but have it switched off more than half the time.

Good news on the Tac light, now if only they could tone down the brilliance of the laser so I don't have a seizure every time I get one flashed into my eyes.

And by "brilliance" you mean auto-aiming. All you have to do is aim in the general direction of someone and the game automatically tries to blind them with it. Unless you run around hip-firing all the time (which is kind of dumb) the laser attachment is rather useless, especially since it doesn't fully blind someone and and makes you a target.

Auto-aiming? You blind them but you still have to shoot. I kill people using it all the time, it makes them fairly obvious too you know.

The tac light and laser light both autoaim for your face, since they have a 100% accuracy when pointed in your general direction instead of dead on (like the laser would have to be). As I've said before, it doesn't make them much harder to kill either, just aim for the center of the light.

I think Manical means that if your pointing the light(laser or flash) in the general direction of a target(with in a resonable distance) he will be just as blinded as if it was pointed directly at him from 5 feet away. And it doesn't matter if your not even fully facing the person either.

I don't use either of them cause it's so easy to spot. I can't count the amount of people(snipers specifically) I've spotted just because they have a light on

It was (much more) noticeable during the beta when your teammates would temporarily blind you when running past you. I haven't noticed that yet but I've also only played one Rush map.

The "Battlefield 3 Says Thanks Sweepstakes" is open to players in the US, UK, France, and Germany. Full details on this sweepstakes is available here. So welcome everyone to a fantastic weekend of gaming, and good luck!

Not even their own Sweden? Also it looks like they are only on the consoles, what a waste. Meh, I already know where to find one of the developers anyway.

Ugh, why do I have to look at the ground to figure out which kit I'm picking up? Was it really too much of a problem to show an icon in the middle of the screen showing which kit I'm picking up?

It shows the icon of the gun from that kit, but yeah no idea why they didn't include the name of the kit since a few guns are universal.

It show the name on Xbox but not PC? :crazyeye:
