Battlefield Heroes

Anybody else been giving this a go now its out? I got some free battlefunds from pcgamer so I thought i'd give it a go. Seems pretty good to me, but I don't usually play these type of games.

The game reminds me of Team Fortress 2 in a Battlefield series. I guess mainly due because Battlefield Heroes has a cartoony feel similar to TF2.

I played this while it was in beta ( waaaay back when, it was the first beta) and while pretty fun, at the time it was kinda...repetetive. Now, its meant more for casual play, and I think they made it so that now the skill level matching system actually works ( level 1's on the same server as level 20's isnt much fun)

Its free, so unless you're short on HDD space, give it a go. Its not a game that will suck you in for hours, but a few sessions a week are definitely easy to do.
