Defining people by very broad labels such as "races" is unrealistic, especially in the case of "native americans", who I imagine have a very mixed heritage by now, for the most part. And that's all I'm gonna say about that. If you want more information about my standpoint, I suggest to watch these two excellent videos on the issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=teyvcs2S4mI, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=teyvcs2S4mI.

Yikes. I'm Sorry. I agree with the main thesis of these videos that race is an unnecessarily imposed social concept rather than an innate one. You've made me look awful silly and I apologize for I wording my original statement poorly.

No problem. I'm mainly trying to educate people a little on this issue, on how the concept of "race", as it is in the popular consciousness today, is rather unrealistic, and I'm glad you took the time to watch the videos, at least.

No contest. Theodora looks like a cross between a sexy egyptian and a hot european.
Wu, Boudicca and Catherine are very distant second choices, but compared to Theodora, they look like animals.

There could be no topic more weighty for my first post!
1. Wu all the way! Pretty eyes and lips, and she looks fantastic in that neat silk dress. And I really like her voice acting. She's very cheery when friendly, and cutely petulant when not. Her DoF hello is so cute. Only thing I wish was that she was in a prettier, warmer palace; maybe a pagoda style garden would be nicer.
2. Dido is fantastic too. Fun voice, fun movements, and that dress is so straining on her! Especially with some of her thrusting motions, the work on that silk is just breath-taking. Her seaside temple is beautiful too.
3. Catherine is great. Nice hair, great at being flirty, and of course the cleavage is wonderful. I wish they would all be so generous in displaying! It's like courteous. Her courtroom does not look at all cozy though; it looks so chilly and empty.
4. Isabella has a pretty face and voice. I like her. The good girl idea is very nice, but zealous intolerance isn't. She would be nice if she could warm up to you a bit and not be so one-track minded with religion.
I don't understand the Theodora love. Her pose and voice are sultry, that is neat. But that headgear thing - it is like she has no hair. It really detracts for me. And her belt does not mesh quite right, especially if she twists. She's just ok to me.
Boudicca, I am sorry to say, is ruined by the underarm hair for me. Maybe it is natural, but so is leg hair. Either are just deal breaking for me. But that's just me. Other than that she looks and sounds and moves cute and feisty.
Elizabeth and both Maria's don't register as attractive to me, but that's just me.
So Wu by a long shot for me. I always try to help her out. I do not have much trouble with Wu (or Dido) backstabbing either, despite their inclinations. I think they're both pretty loyal if you take care of them. Lots of times I can shepherd Wu to victory, but sometimes she really gets herself into trouble.
They did a great job with both her and Theodora. Despite being straight and female, I think I would have to have a good think about turning either of them down.
Oh, and surely in the interests of equality we ought to have a similar contest for the men of CiV?
Try being a Dido fan. She's a psychotic in those early few eras. For some reason the odd games I don't play as her, I start within two start locations as her. Every time. She either wipes me out, or, if I'm focusing entirely on military, she's asking me to attack everyone else all the time.
...Then If I refuse too much she wipes me out.
But damn if she isn't majestic as hell about it.
Edit: maybe special mention for Boudicca, my only problem with her is she looks like that sword will snap her forearm like a twig if she ever tries to fight with it. Dido actually looks like a real woman rather than just fan service. But she's still hot, and equally as psychotic.
Let's see the candidates:
Maria Theresa: She is the granny who will never give her cookies out of her hands. Even her grandchildren are on the black list. I don't prefer old woman, so I say no.
Maria I: Advanced version of Theresa. Younger, colder, and more uppish. Just no.
Boudicca: A psychopatic thin swordsMAN. Nooo! Never! Get away!
Elizabeth: She always reminds me the queen from the Black Adder. So, I can't take her seriously.
Dido: Average woman with an annoying personality.
Catherine: When I look at her eyes, I can't understand how does she control the Russian empire. Her face says: 'I am not the brighest bulb in Russia.' And she make it worse with that cleavage.
Isabella: A religius zealot and an annoying beggar. At least her face is cute.
Wu Zetian and Theodora: They are both beautiful women with a coherent leader style. And both of them tries to charm you during negotiations. That's nice. I voted for Theodora because I prefer caucasian women more.

Looks can be deceiving. Also, obfuscating stupidity is a real thing, and I wouldn't be surprised if any of the leaders historically employed this strategy, especially the female ones, with misogyny being what it is.
While Wu Zetian was probably the most-historically prettiest, but whoever rendered the scenes of Theodora had made her über-hot! Therefor, she got my vote!

Sometimes it may come in handy. The link says "no one will believe the idiot". Without trust you have few chances in diplomacy. And I don't think that is an (historically) appropriate behaviour as Cathrine.
On the other hand, talking about the topic, without intelligence there is no beauty. That is my opinion.
Now that the male hotness vote is available (HIAWATHAAAAAAAA!!!), I feel like I can vote in this one.
I vote Dido. She has a beautiful leaderscreen and is pretty without having some ridiculous makeup or being, eerrr, terribly well-endowed. Even her pouty "I'm at war with you!" face is cute.
I like Isabella. She has a very nice face. Dido has nice features too, but her head shape is a little weird to me. Boudicca is nice to look at too. Catherine looks stoned to me, and Theodora has an visage of practiced disinterest. It makes me think her duplicitous.
I don't get why some people are against Catherine:
1- The girl I like in real life is called Catherine
2-I admit that her eyes look a bit wierd, but her dress makes her look beautifull. Her hair is beautifly done as well !!
