IT - Pick up Refining.
1060 AD (1) - Switch Karakorum to Wall Street. Boston has amazing production.
1070 AD (2) - Get Military Tradition, get some money for it. Start Compulsory Education.
1100 AD (5) - We miss out on Magellan's Voyage by a couple of turns. Switch the city over to Arc de Triomphe. We capture Hiva.
1120 AD (7) - Sign an RoP with Iroquois. I don't see us attacking them before 20 turns, and they claimed some Polynesian rubble so we have to move through their territory.
Crystal Palace is due in five, being built in Boston, which should be able to produce an amazing amount of shields once completely improved.
1140 AD (9) - We get Mass Production (or whatever the Crystal Palace tech is).
The land from Polynesia will be a bit awkward to defend, as someone pointed out, but if we can take their three northenmost cities on the first turn, having taken Polynesian lands will not have any real effect on the front. We will need some units between now and then, though. I built nothing militarily, and I lost a couple cavalry and a few Keshiks, unfortunately. I also forgot to upgrade the cannons until the last turn.
(the only smiley I ever use)
Worker situation is also a little off. We got a steady enough stream of 1-2 Polynesian workers for the last few turns, so some of the worker groups aren't quite the right size (especially one that cleaned up pollution in the last turn).
