Pre-flight 150 BC Dig out my Czarina outfit and go in drag. I figure were going to need HBR if were going to go to war with England. Those chariots just arent going to cut it. I use the Charis trick and drop both sliders to 0% to see what Monty will deal for HBR. We can get it for 4gpt, 35g & WM. I run min science while I collect some cash for upgrades.
IBT Watch Monty sail two galleys to our north.

After action: Here is a Sitrep of the front:
I would gather a few more units in Hastings and then press on towards Dover. Expect at least four defenders in Dover, plus a decent counterattack. There are presently five swords and two horsemen in Hastings. You will probably need another three or four to march on Dover and leave a decent garrison in Hastings.
Here is our most vulnerable area, our SW coast.
Where I have drawn the red lines are all potential landing spots that we cant defend very well. I have some units moving there. I would build roads and clear the jungle so that we have some nice killing zones. When we can afford it, we should position a unit on the two coastal mountains. Everywhere else we have a nice zone defense in place.
Please note that my daytime internet access is going to be very limited due to workload over the next few months. I will attempt to be here as much as possible, but please dont count on me. Likewise, I may have to reduce the number of SGs Im playing in, but that may not be for a while.
