anyway, i don't like huge because movement is screwed up, it is nearly impossible to wage war, even in the modern era, as even air/parratroper units can't reach much farther than the front lines, and don't even think about trying to move 1 movement people, let alone wage ar on another continent (or in the case of Pangea the other side of the continent)
Pangaea, as the naval aspect of PTW is poor, contacts are developed earlier, and there are more wars
Standard, because any bigger and it gets boring...
Huge continents... Game last even longer than on a pangea, and now with the new C3C features you discover the other continent really late in the game... That's great, because all the time you're thinking, "Okay, I can handle my continent, doing pretty well, but... what's happening to the other side of the world ?"
And the luxury/strategic part is really important on huge maps...
I personally like making the largest maps you can and playing them on a pangea. However, I'd settle for continents, as it doesn't always give you a "true" pangea map.
i guess the main reason i like a large map is because i feel traped, and confiened in a small map, but in a large map, i feel as if once i'm to the point i'm comfortable with the size of my empire, the map is ussualy full, so no AI gets a bigger empire than me. also on a Huge map, nobody can really move that well, considering how long it gets from point A to point B
