Best N64 Game

OK, I think it is official.

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is the best ever N64 game ever made.

It's on the Gamecube, too! :smug:

Not for me :p

Superman 64 obviously!

But seriously, I think Pilotwings 64 was just awesome. I REALLY liked that island that was shaped like the United States and I could fly over cornfields and mountains and cities and around the Statue of Liberty and Cape Canavrel(s?) and simply wow. Pilotwings 64 was the most detailed flight sim I experienced since Microsoft Flight Simulator 4.0. ;)

Random order:
Goldeneye
Legend of Zelda: OoT
Star Fox 64
Super Mario 64
Conker
OgreBattle64 (Am I the only one that really liked this game)

Unfortunately, this list is from 2000.

1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
2. Super Mario 64
3. Perfect Dark
4. Golden Eye 007
5. Excitebike 64
6. Wave Race 64
7. Banjo-Kazooie
8. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater
9. Rayman 2: The Great Escape
10. International Superstar Soccer '98

21. Blast Corps
22. Space Station: Silicon Valley
23. Mario Golf
24. Rocket: Robot on Wheels
25. Harvest Moon 64

I still don't understad why Star Fox 64 and F-Zero X didn't make the list while Mario Kart 64 did.

I personally think Ocarina of Time was the best.

Pages back, I'm extending the low-star SM64 to this: Someone beat Super Mario 64 with 0 stars.

How in the world do you do speed runs like that?

Okay, as for what I think, I think the N64's best games were better than the GameCube's (although there was more room for innovation back in those days). The first game I have ever watched in my life was Super Mario 64, and I thought "boy, what an amazing game" (I was right to think it was good, of course). One of my friends has an N64 and he still takes Star Fox 64 out for a spin every now and then. Maybe I could tell him to do the following.

Step 1. Buy a Wii.
Step 2. Sell his GameCube and Nintendo 64 and all his Nintendo 64 games.
Step 3. Download his favorite Nintendo 64 games via the Wii's Virtual Console.

Although now that you mention it, he's at Thomas Jefferson High and doesn't have too much time to play games.

Why bother? If he has got the old console, stick with it.
