But seriously, I think Pilotwings 64 was just awesome. I REALLY liked that island that was shaped like the United States and I could fly over cornfields and mountains and cities and around the Statue of Liberty and Cape Canavrel(s?) and simply wow. Pilotwings 64 was the most detailed flight sim I experienced since Microsoft Flight Simulator 4.0.

I still don't understad why Star Fox 64 and F-Zero X didn't make the list while Mario Kart 64 did.
Swein, what the hell? You bumped a 2 year old thread and didn't even answer the OP! Nobody gives a crap about all the lists! The OP asked what game you think was the best N64 game, not some 8 year old list. Make up your own mind for once!
Okay, as for what I think, I think the N64's best games were better than the GameCube's (although there was more room for innovation back in those days). The first game I have ever watched in my life was Super Mario 64, and I thought "boy, what an amazing game" (I was right to think it was good, of course). One of my friends has an N64 and he still takes Star Fox 64 out for a spin every now and then. Maybe I could tell him to do the following.
Step 1. Buy a Wii.
Step 2. Sell his GameCube and Nintendo 64 and all his Nintendo 64 games.
Step 3. Download his favorite Nintendo 64 games via the Wii's Virtual Console.
Although now that you mention it, he's at Thomas Jefferson High and doesn't have too much time to play games.
Well, that particular run is tool assisted, i.e. an emulator was used to use savestates and slowdown to make the tricks easier. Doing a run like this as flawless as that is almost impossible without using an emulator
