Beyond the Sword Install problem related to GameFly Vanilla

I bought Civ IV Complete from Direct to Drive. They sold to GameFly. GameFly does not have a downloadable version of Warlords or BTS. I have discs for BTS. My vanilla discs are in storage and not accessible.

When I try to install BTS via the discs, it says that Civ IV is not properly installed and to reinstall it.

The vanilla version installed the files under downloads/games/Civilization IV complete/... and the game play files are under mygames. I moved the files to Program Files(x86), but really suspect that if it was a file naming issue and location issue, that I would not have duplicated the proper names.

Any suggestions?

Sorry, they're incompatable. Hope that Gamefly add BTS to their catalogue, get some Civ 4 discs, or see if someone is selling complete cheaply. You will not get a disc version working with a download version. Don't be tempted to buy a download version of BTS elsewhere as that won't be compatable witht the D2D Civ 4 either.

I have BTS running on my CPU, but my son wants it. He can live with vanilla.
