Biggest disappointment with Warlords

Corner kthxbye!

Online games?

Tibia?

Typical flamer phrase!

Anyway I dont like 90% of the musics in CIV, what can I do? :P

well you can set a custom music folder from which Civ will load the .MP3s (and .WMV) and play in a not-so-random order. this being my 500 mp3s seem to play a collection of 30 in game, and repeats 3 of them every 2nd song.

There is a mod component out there that makes winamp works with CIV. You can pause, stop, play and jump musics at your own will, all inside the game by really functional controls! Hope it helps :P

I was not being sarcastic. That music is an afront to any decent musician and their ears, living or dead.

Thats ridiculus, the Baba Yetu is a nice song and takes you back, it builds a climax to the origin of civilization. But as well, WARLODS is no more about the star of civilization, is about the PUNK FIGHT we got ourselves in after we realized that we could make fire! So I guess the celtic music will do just fine. But hey, be aware when you criticize music, be more aware when you speak in the name of all musicians in the world. dont forget that life is not a party to honor you, you are part of it.

Baba Yetu is for the weak. Any real man/lesbian will be blasting "UN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN(Did I miss a dun?)" "I YUNA DEE UN DUN DUN DUN." Man, I've got skills.

ill take it no-one on this forum is a fan of any decent musician. i know the first song i play when i go to war with my gunships is VooDoo Child.

rock out

Wow, ok. I remember when Civ4 came out I showed it to my friends and all independent of each other they mentioned how great the song was. The first time I came to these forums since I first got Civ3 was to find out more about this song and background on it, to see if it had struck a chord with anyone else. I remember finding a large thread and most everyone said it was great. I'm not mad, I'm just shocked at this reaction personally, I thought it was widely enjoyed.

Anyways, I enjoy the music of Warlords also, but its more background music and less pronounced than Baba Yetu. I mean, with the lights of the planet and everything in the background there was just something awe-inspiring about it. Anyways, I dont profess to be a music expert so maybe I'm just the layman they're catering to.

And man, some people on these forums sound very pretentious when telling us of their plights.

i pulled out my favorite songs from the civ4 soundtracks and put them in a folder and use it to play random ones. i have baba yetu in there 3 times so that it gets played pretty often.

yes, i'm a builder, not a warmonger, what can i say? *giggle*

im a war monger, and specially proud of the "-12 you declared war on us" rating i once got.

frankly i love nothing better than invading with gunships and listeninsg to jimi hendrix or joe satriani.

viva la rock

If your biggest disappointment with Warlords is the music, then I think it might be time for you to go by a portable MP3 player. Or, at least a walkman.

Go rent Apocalypse Now. Richard Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries is the tune for helicopter warfare. ;)

i HAVE apocolypse now (Redux Version) and i know of Richard Wagner, and ride of the valkryies :D

glad to see somone on this forum who knows how to go to war. :goodjob:

Drkodos, you needn't get so offended by Baba Yehtu because it "affronts your ears". If anyone knows music, I do. I am a middle schooler, but high school groups beg me to play with them. But I'm not crying that Baba Yehtu isn't a typical song. And it's pretty cool anyway.
This thread is pointless.
