here's mine, mostly thanks to the fact the 90% of his army were archers

dude nice ive had bigger but i forgot to save i was GB and i was fighting france we brought our armies together on an assult on paris the battle took forever both sides taking heavy casualties and we both lost at least 1 family member in the battle i won by a hare and i hoped never to have that close a battle again but dude bout 800 deaths to ur 40 some? thats preety awesome maybe i should reconsider on my no archer production

archers have saved my life many times, and now i've had larger battles, but that was an early game for me

Byzantium, Egyption Jihad to Constantaople....

Surrounded Jihad, killed em off. (I only got to use my first army, I blame my PC, and the fact that I use Huge unit sizes).

heh 90% of that army was archers? I take it that explains why you've massed all your cavalry into one huge armoured fist? I do that many times, saved me more times than I can recall.

I haven't really had any MAJOR battles in MTW2 yet unfortunately, I was playing as the English and I fought in a similar sized battle to that with the French but that's about it. I had a crusading army heading round to attack the Holy Land but the Crusade was successful by the time it got there so I had a packed army in the Mid East with nothing to do, so I razed some Egyptian cities, I had expected a huge battle there but the Egyptians were most certainly MIA, only a few units in the cities

Missle Units are the best, the mongols beisieged my city twice and attack my city twice in two turns. Both times i was outnumber, 2:1 and 3:1 but those archers save me bloody butt

My battle was that i was England, I had beaten up France and Spain and was moving into Germany, and all of the sudden I find that the Mongols have conquered everything east of Poland.

They sent huge armies at me en masse. It was crazy.
