When 40% of blacks in America are poor, then I do believe that, that represents a failed ethnic group. Just because there are a few wealthy people in a set group does not mean that the said group is in itself wealthy. Because there are a few destitute white people does that make them a poor disadvantaged ethic group?

I've already laid out two options that poor people have to get themselves into the middle class. What they start out with is irrelevant. They can climb out of it if they want, but a lot don't, simply because they have a self-defeating mindset.

Do you deny that the some of the black community has a significant problem with out-of-wedlock child birth? Do you deny that a disproportionate number of the black community winds up in prison, or that a lot of families in the inner city is on welfare?

Knowledge is the key to power and the ability to claw yourself out of poverty. The sad thing is that the amount of knowledge that is needed to claw yourself out is a very large sum. Easily achieved by going to the library, but who in inner city Detroit would want to do that?
4 children is not a fact at all. Not a large majority of black people run on welfare. I do agree that out-of-wedlock birth is a problem. There is a good reason for disproportionate members of the black community ending up in prison, yes a good amount are on welfare. But what else would they do, yes there are the welfare mommas, but how many of those compared to those who work blood, sweat, and tears, but just aren't educated enough to drag themselves out of poverty?

Actually you are right. The only black Jews I have met were quite well off. But you are inferring that all Jews are rich, tisk, tisk, that's stereotyping.

So because blacks are poor its a failed ethnic group? Or is it that the people are failing them selves. A few wealthy people? There a lot of rich black people out there. You know the ones who used those black only scholarships to get ahead. The ones who did good in school. The ones who tried.
Oh and there are more poor whites then rich whites.
Just saying that America is a liberal enough society to make religion a non-issue. Plus who knows a Jew by looking at them, I don't. I think you can see if someone is black. (sometimes you can't, I'm not kidding). There are only a few poor jews because most are well educated.

Jews... don't have the history of slavery, or Jim Crow laws, here in America.
Jews... have a unifying religion that allows more business contacts between them.
Jews... have a history of wealth going back to the days when the began to loan money with interest, something forbidden by Christianity and Islam.
Jews and blacks aint the same thing.
