Binge Succession Game

Djurre seems to have disappeared. :(

We've decided to carry on anyway, so I played Djurre's turns - and he'll be sorry to have missed out. The Chinese are left with only one city and the war produced 3 GLs, giving us an army and 2 wonders. As Tiamat triggered our GA at the start of the war, there's been a lot of city development been made too. :D

Scandinavia's new lands

All that needs to be done now is to put some defenders in the 2 cities Mao gave me for signing the peace treaty, and switch govs.
Then we can continue with the backward Germans, who I feel would benefit from some Scananavian culture.

Ok, Germany is almost wiped out. THe first inter-turn before I played Germany & France signed an MA against Spain. Spain then brought England in against Germany, & the English brought in the Celts against the Germans as well. However, they have only taken a couple of German cities that were off by themselves. I declared war on the Germans after the Celts were brought in, and they only have 4 cities left, all the ones that we will get.

I also got a new leader who rushed Hoover's for us. We should build Heroic Epic somewhere though.

I recommend finishing off the Germans, then probably the next target should be the Celts.

Well, the Germans are gone now and the only war still on is between the Spanish and the Celts. The Celts are - according to our spy - patheticly weak and only have a handfull of cavalry and riflemen.
We're now a democracy (the anarchy lasted 7 turns. Ouch :cringe: ) and are getting about 180gpt from the other civs from tech trading.
We also have an empty army waiting in the capital, ready for the next war. Motorised transportation is maybe 18 turns away.

Over to Tiamat. :)

Ok, the Celts & Spanish have signed a peace treaty, but not before the Celts spawned a leader, created an army and won a battle with it.

I spent my turn trying to complete infrastructure in the conquered territory and starting to build up our army. Most of the cities in our original territory are building tanks, with a couple still building Infantry and 2 cities with airports building bombers. I have rally points set for all cities building ground units to one of 2 locations, if you want to cancel them feel free.

The Celts still don't have RP yet so they are defending with Riflemen still.

The war against the Celts lasted about 12 turns. They are left with one city, and we now own the Sistine chapel. :)

One complication of the war was that the Spanish, who I'd drawn into the war to split the Celtic forces declared war on us as soon as we'd taken the SC - it seems they were desperate for that particular wonder themselves.
The tricky part is that the Spanish are in an MPP with the English, and aren't accepting our envoy yet. Some diplomacy with the English needed maybe?

In the meantime, the Spanish units trying to invade our territory are an exellent chance at getting another GL.

Ok, this turn was basically just building pollution controlling improvements, plus completing rail/irrig/mining in the newly conquered Celtic territory. On your first turn, we will discover Rocketry, which will finally allow us to see Aluminium and start on MA's.

I also eliminated the Chinese on my last turn as they were continually moving units into our territory.

The English & Russians are also moving units in to our territory every turn, but the English have MPP's with the Spanish & Celts (:crazyeye: ).

Don't try for a UN vote, we would almost certainly lose.

One more session should finish the game now. :)

There is a world war raging, everyone against the English. The Celts unwisely delclared war against the Russians, who instantly destroyed them.
The spaceship is under construction and we want one more tech for it that we can get from the Russians when the current trade deal ends. Hopefully the war is keeping everyone too busy to build spaceships. ;)
It might even be possible to win a UN vote now, as we're pacted with everyone but the English and I've been bribing the French and Spanish.

Ok, victory is ours. We acheived a Spaceship victory in the year 1832. Our final score was 3735. At the time of the launch, only France may have started building their own spaceship.
