Hi,
Having installed Civ IV, and got the 1.52 patch. When I play the game the map area appears black except for cities, units and speradic bits of land - swamps, mines etc, the resource items are also displayed.
I have re-installed the game twice but the problem remains I was wondering if anyone could suggest anything to sort this out?
When I go to the world builder, all of the map is displayed in 3D glory but on returning to the game it goes back to black.
In addition in the game all of the leaders only show up with mouth and eyes.
I did play for about two hours yesterday to see if it cleared up when I discovered stuff like paper etc but then I realised it blatently wasn't going to happen!
If anyone can suggest anything to help that would be great. Thanks in advance!
