Well even with the 5 minute turns, I was able to kinda play the game if I kept a magazine near by. Now I've started to encounter something that forces me to reboot pc.
When loading a game from the main menu, it will get to "Finishing" and then just hang. Finally the screen will just turn black and stay that way till the PC is rebooted (I tested by leaving it on over night to see if it was just taking a while to load, or really frozen). I believe it has something to do with making my video card (9800 pro with latest drivers) not respond because my second moniter goes off like my pc was shut down.
Now, not always does this happen. Sometimes it loads slowly, but fine. Almost like Russian roulette, which confuses me since I don't know what to pinpoint causing it.
I attached the save game below:

Also for the saved game, when I was creating it I thought that I could use the default name of civ if I used [default] like what it was for other properties. Well I was wrong, so thats why it has that weird name. On another note, that would be cool if you could do that since I rather have a more historically accurate name.
