To create your DirectX Diagnostic information:
1) Click on the START menu, select RUN and type in DXDIAG and select OK.
2) When the DirectX Diagnostic tool opens and finishes sorting (blue bar will disappear), click on the "SAVE ALL INFORMATION..." button on the lower right, next to the "EXIT" button.
3) Save the DxDiag.txt to your desktop or other easily found location.
4) Attach it using the Attach Files function in the Additional Options.

your graphics drivers predate the release of the game - usually I would recommend updating them - but the nvidia site no longer lists drivers for that card.
try looking for an omegadriver: http://www.omegadrivers.net/
this might help.

Your card is below the minimum specs though - so it might not work :dunno:

I had the game (sort of) running on a MSI GeForce 2 MX400 which predates your card. I had visible floodplains in unexplored land and large areas where the minimap would be black. I haven't reinstalled Civ 4 on that PC since I updated the OS from ME to XP as the later patches which solved some of the game issues refused to work due to the copy protection so I don't know how many issues were caused by the graphics card and how many were caused by ME. I will check when I get home what drivers I have (I think they may be MSI ones), but it may well be that you won't get any better with that card.

Edit: the drivers on my old card are even older than yours! version 6.14.0010.4523 dated 2003!, haven't tried to run Civ 4 on this PC since I loaded XP and had the issues I listed above when on ME, but can't remember the drivers I had then.
